Scrumptious Smoothies!

Have you ever had a home made smoothie? Is it always delicious? Well, if it isn’t, then you do not like proper smoothies. At home, My Mum and I love making smoothies and -she- likes to try new mixes. I, however, keep my mixtures simple.

Top Tips

  • I strongly recommend using a mixture of fruit and vegetables to maximise the health benefits of the smoothie.
  • If you want to have bananas in your mix, try not to put in to much because the taste overpowers the more delicate fruit and veg you may be using.
  • To make your smoothie more liquid, you can add water, coconut water, natural yogurt or even fresh fruit juice.
  • If you use blueberries in your smoothie, it will almost always turn out the colour purple!

  1. Strawberry, Banana and Blueberry
  2. Lime, Apple, cucumber, mango and rasberry
  3. Mango, Banana, and Satsuma

  • Ice or frozen fruit is a crutial part of making a smoothie (although I don’t use any)
